SCHEDULING

A session agreement and invoice to pay session retainer will be sent to you via email.  Sessions are scheduled after the session agreement and session retainer is received.  Your session date is then tentatively scheduled on my calendar about 1 week after your due date.  Final session date is chosen once you share your baby has arrived.  Studio newborn sessions take place in my Troy, Michigan studio. Booking during your 2nd trimester is recommended to ensure availability on my schedule.

CONSULTATION & WARDROBE

Sessions are styled during our consultation.  Props, wraps, headbands, bonnets, etc, specific to newborn photography, are all provided. Consumer grade prop purchases are not recommended.  Studio gowns are available for parent portraits. You will receive a Parent Prep Guide to prepare you and your newborn for his/her first portrait session, along with a Wardrobe Guide with tips for coordinating wardrobe.

STUDIO

My Troy, Michigan studio was designed with my newborn babies and their families in mind.  All the comforts of home allow you to relax and catch up on Netflix, or you can even take a nap after enjoying a cup of coffee or tea, or a cold beverage and snack.  There are restaurants close by for lunch.  I have a comfortable nursing area for parents and stocked changing area for your added convenience.

RETOUCHING

A soft proofed online gallery will be sent to you to view & order your images about a week after your session.   Skin retouching, such as blemish removal and tone correction is included to give skin a natural, polished look to the images you choose.  Additional editing should be discussed in advance of your final product creation.
