Melissa is Metro Detroit’s premier maternity, newborn, family and baby photographer and has served the Metro Detroit area for the past 13 years. She takes great care to create a memorable experience and beautiful images for her clients.

A NOTE FROM MELISSA:

Most photographers will tell you that they started photography because they wanted to capture their own children. I started mine when I was very small. I used to look though photo albums of myself as a baby & thought it was so cool to be able to visit that exact moment in time, because I was too little to remember it. To see how my parents looked when I was little, or to see me with my siblings was just amazing to me. I cherished the photos & do even more now that my Dad has passed, since it is really the only thing I have left to remember him by.

I love giving the same gift to my clients by photographing their new babies, growing families & their motherhood journey.

I started my photography business in 2011 with a camera & a dream. I never could have imagined where I would be today. I have always loved babies & photography, so becoming a newborn photographer was a no brainer! It is truly my passion & I am grateful for the opportunity to do what I love every day!
