SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN!
SANTA is automatically included in your session!
Get your child’s photo with Santa, (or have Santa in the background if you think they may be scared of him!) He can be added into family photos or kids only. He will be ready to have milk and cookies, make toys in his workshop, read a story and hear what your child wants for Christmas.
Santa will be dressed in his formal holiday attire & will be taking a quick break from the North Pole to visit us. All children will receive a special gift for being good all year!
Drop off your child’s Christmas wish list, or letter to Santa, in our special mailbox and your child will receive a letter back from Santa, via snail mail, right from the North Pole!
2025 FAMILY SCENES
I am excited to add a new Family backdrop to this years Christmas Mini Sessions! It will give the perfect background for your family photos.
(Can also be used for kids only session)
2025 KIDS ONLY SCENES
Our new interactive scene is Santa’s Workshop! There will be a work table and wooden toys for kids to help get ready for Santa.
I am excited to bring back an oldie but goodie this year! Our Baking Cookies scene is now Milk + Cookies! This is an interactive so the kids can “bake” cookies for Santa, or just have milk and cookies with Santa. The kids love this scene because they get to do something and they get cookies! Santa is included in your sessions automatically, but you can opt out when you book!

- WATCH FOR A CONFIRMATION AND PREP EMAIL FROM ME!
OTHER DETAILS
- All Christmas Mini Sessions take place at scheduled time in my Troy, Michigan studio located at 1755 Livernois Rd. Troy, MI 48083.
- Proofing gallery sent via email within 1 week of session.
- Final images delivered in a private online gallery within 3 weeks from session. Images are all high resolution for printing.
- Being on time is extremely important in order to keep the sessions running on time.
- Arrive 10 minutes prior to your session time and TEXT ME. This will keep limited amount of clients in the studio at a time.
- Book 2 back to back sessions to incorporate more than 1 immediate family. Immediate family means 2 parents & their children only. If you have grandparents or other family such as aunts/uncles/cousins, you will need 2 slots in order to provide enough time.
- Parents may not have photos on the kids only sets. No exceptions.
- If you have a large family-please reach out before booking in order to ensure your family will fit on my setups.
- 15 minutes are allotted for each session. This time includes photographing and outfit change. These sessions move quickly and you will be surprised how much we get in our time together. Make sure everyone is ready to go when you arrive. There will be a 5 minute buffer in between sessions to allow for cleaning and prep.
- Proofing galleries will include all the best shots from your session! Typical galleries will have at least 10 images, but often sometimes we get more!
- Additional images can be purchased and we also have prints, ornaments, holiday cards and albums available.
- Santa is automatically includes in your session, unless you choose to opt out. He can be as involved as you want. He can be in background or can interact with kids.
- I will not be able to accommodate changing of scheduled scenes at the time of your session.

NOTE FROM MELISSA
I can’t believe it is almost time for our 7th annual Christmas Mini Sessions!
The planning started in July and I am so excited about this year’s event!
This year I have TWO days of sessions again since it worked so well and booked out!
I updated backdrops with a NEW family scene called Cozy Christmas, that I know you will love and a new Kids Only scene that will be interactive called Santa’s Workshop. It will be adorable with little wooden toys that kids can help get ready for Santa’s sleigh. I decided to keep the beloved Baking Cookies scene because the kiddos absolutely LOVED this interactive scene and we captured the cutest images! Even Santa got in on the fun baking and eating cookies! it is now called Milk + Cookies and will include real milk and cookies!
Speaking of Santa…I am SO excited he is coming again this year! I am always happy to make parents’ lives a bit easier. I remember how it was going to the Mall with my kids and after standing in line forever, having them be less than excited. It just wasn’t always the greatest experience, usually someone cried, but it was important for me to document, so I did it even though it was painful sometimes. So, now you don’t HAVE to go to the mall (if they even do that anymore) AND your kids get to do a fun activity with Santa too!
Santa is automatically included in your session, unless you choose to opt out. He can join in any session type and he can be involved with the kids, or he can be in the photo without the kids even knowing he is there! Out of all the kids last year, only one was crying, but Mom loved the images anyway! Santa will bring a special gift for each child and there will be a special mailbox for Santa letters. When you book, you will receive a printable Santa letter template. Just fill it out and bring it with you to your session. Santa will reply once he gets back to the North Pole!
