Another baby boy is the studio! I started out with baby girls the beginning of 2016 and am definitely ending with baby boys! Baby boy Derek is baby #3 and has an older brother Gabriel, and sister, Emery. They absolutely LOVE their baby brother!
Derek was born November 16, 2016 and weighed 8 lbs 5 ounces and was 21.5 inches long. At our session he was 15 days new and very alert! He was such a beautiful baby boy! I love the open eyed shot we got. I really love it when I can get those because they are super cute and it doesn’t always happen!
We decided to do some Christmas photos and I love his little tushie up pose! So cute! Big brother and big sister loved the Christmas set-up! I try to make the sessions fun for older siblings by making them laugh, having them help, and making them feel special. They usually have shorter attention spans, so bringing along a favorite toy, book or even an Ipad or tablet with a game and of course some snacks, can be a great way to keep them occupied. These two did great and it is always funny to put your little brother in a crate,( and other things!) and I am sure he will endure many things being the youngest, but as the oldest of 2, I can say that even though we relentlessly tease our younger siblings, we also will defend and protect them at all costs. This baby boy will be well protected and very loved!

I would love to create your newborn session! Booking in the 2nd trimester is ideal to ensure you get on my schedule in the 5-14 day window I prefer, but I can also accommodate sessions of babies that have already been born and will sometimes still be able to get the sleepy, curly poses.
