Pink and Gold Cake Smash time! They are my favorite!! It brings out my princess side…I mean who doesn’t love a little bit of bling?
Miss Veronika has been coming to me since she was a newborn and I just can’t believe she is already 1 year old! She was born on Valentine’s Day 2018, so we had to incorporate some hearts too! She did not like being messy at all, but loved the washtub and her music!

Baby girl…Seems like so long ago we were awaiting your arrival!
January was a pretty cold month with very little snow, so we made the best of it!
Mom looked amazing in our ruby velvet gown!
Fast forward a month and little miss Rosemary made her arrival and she was such a sweet baby girl!
She really fought sleep for awhile, but finally we got her sleeping peacefully!
We just had to get a photo of her with our little donut prop since her nursery is donut themed!!
Isn’t that awesome!

Twin newborns are a photographer’s dream!
These adorable 3 weeks old fraternal twin boys did not disappoint!… they were so adorable!!
Twin sessions are the same as my regular studio newborn sessions except there is double the sweetness going on!
With enough notice, I can even coordinate outfits and other items to incorporate into your babies session.
I absolutely LOVE the navy blue with these guys, and have lots of other colors to choose from!

We were really hoping for some snow…but we found a beautiful spot tucked in the back of the park with some gorgeous light, that was the perfect spot for maternity photos!
I just LOVE this dress on her! It fit her perfectly!!
Black is such an elegant color and even though we did a sapphire blue, emerald green and ruby red dresses as well, this is probably my favorite one!
Her hubby was the perfect train tosser!
I can’t wait for their little ones arrival in a few short weeks!
We will be doing a donut theme for some of the photos and the props are so cute and yummy looking!!

This is such a busy and exciting time for you! Whether you are a first time parent, or seasoned pros, all the planning in the world can change based on that precious baby! One thing you can plan successfully is your hospital bag! Even with lots of planning, it can happen…you leave important items at home! We have all seen The Office when Pam and Jim leave their birthing music at home and we all know how that ended up!
As a newborn photographer, I have heard A LOT of birth stories and having 2 kiddos of my own, I understand that sometimes things do not go as planned. As a planner, type A personality, it was like I failed already at being a Mom whenever things didn’t go as planned and I was very hard on myself…but I have learned as my kids have grown up, it is pretty hard to mess them up if you are at least trying!
So, I have compiled this list, (because I am a list maker!), that you can use to help be as prepared as possible. I hope it helps!
Now just don’t forget the bag at home! And, if you do, don’t worry! You will be so in love with your new little person, it probably won’t matter to you right away. Send someone to get it so you can be comfortable later.

This tiny little guy came into the studio for newborn photos last month, with his parents and big sister! He was FULL of smiles and was so easy to pose and was such a snuggly baby that loved being wrapped and didn’t mind changing outfits. He is such an adorable little guy, I seriously could have kept him all day!!
Newborn photos are typically scheduled during the 2nd trimester for about 1 week after baby’s due date. This date may be moved based on baby’s actual arrival. I prefer to do the sessions between 5-14 days old. I only book 12 newborns a month so I have room to move appointments as needed. Parent and siblings are welcome to join in and be photographed. All sessions are styled with props and outfits, headbands and wraps in your choice of style and colors. We send you a questionnaire for session planning when you book your session along with a wardrobe guide for you. Professional hair and makeup can be added to your session and would be done in my studio prior to the session by one of my stylists. Professional hair and makeup is recommended and can be done at your own salon as well.
Newborn photos are a once in a lifetime event and since they grow and change SO fast, I recommend capturing all the tiny details when you can!
