All of my sessions include wardrobe & session styling to create beautiful images.
I have a main shooting space & a cozy client lounge for you to view from. I have several props, wraps, headbands, bonnets, newborn outfits, backdrops etc. to create the perfect portraits for your newborn or baby.
My client lounge is a cozy place for you to relax with microwave, coffee bar, tea, water and snacks for you to enjoy. I have TV with several streaming platforms for you to catch up on your favorite shows or you can take a cat nap on our cozy couch if you want! Wifi available to connect your favorite devices.
I have several locations that have the best of what Michigan has to offer that are perfect for your family’s photo session. We will determine the best location based on what you are looking for.
I would love to create heirlooms for you to pass through generations that showcase love and connection, whether it is a session to document your family, baby or the start of your motherhood journey.

Hi! My name is Melissa and I am the owner/photographer of Melissa Anne Photography located in Troy, Michigan.
I started my photography journey 13 years ago and began focusing on newborns, babies first year, families and pregnancy documentation. I love capturing newborn smiles, toddler cuddles, Mom’s playing with her kids, Dad’s holding their new babies…and I love creating something that will be passed down for generations.
I believe that every Mom deserves to be in photos with their kids. I love creating joyful, candid moments that you are proud to look back at. Session styling is an important part of what I do and I love creating each session to be uniquely yours.
