New This Year!
We got word that Mrs. Claus & the elves are going to hold down the fort at the North Pole, so Santa can take a quick trip to our studio to spend some time with us! Yay! He had so much fun last year, he can’t wait to come back and see everyone again!
We decided to bring back Milk + Cookies again with delicious sugar cookies and milk. Santa has been very excited about this! Mrs. Claus is sending some special milk glasses and her special sugar cookies for each child as a keepsake. We have a new scene for the kid’s called Candy Cane Lane. It is a super cute outdoor scene that will have a fun vibe for the kids to get a little playful with some snowballs. I am so excited for this one! And of course, we have a new family scene this year called Cozy Winter Morning. I absolutely LOVE this one! Such a beautiful, peaceful vibe. I think it is neutral enough that you can wear any color you choose.
This year I wanted to elevate the experience even more. I am offering silver heirloom photo ornaments again that were hugely popular last year! These gorgeous soldered silver ornaments will have a photo of your choice on one side and the other will have a special message along with the year 2026. I will also be offering matted gift prints, holiday cards, custom albums and digital files.

SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN!
SANTA can be added to any session type!
Get your child’s photo with Santa, (or have Santa in the background if you think they may be scared of him!) He can be added into family photos or kids only. He will be ready to eat cookies, read a story and hear what your child wants for Christmas. All children will receive a special gift for being good all year!
Santa is included automatically, but if you don’t want him to join you, make sure to let me know when booking!
2026 FAMILY SCENES

KIDS ONLY SCENES
We have put a twist on our Baking Cookies scene that has been a favorite for a few years now. Welcome Milk + Cookies! Same backdrop, but we will have real cookies and milk so the kids can have a yummy snack-Santa can join in too. Kids will get a cookie to take and get to keep the milk glass as a gift.
To keep things interactive…I talked with Santa and he thought it would be fun for the kids to hang out in his workshop with him! This new scene will have a work table with lots of toys that they can help Santa get ready in time for Christmas!
This is our newest kids scene! Kids can wear anything from outdoor attire to Christmas attire! We will have a sled, a wagon, “snow balls” and candy cane props for the kids to have fun with.
OTHER DETAILS
- All Christmas Mini Sessions take place BY APPOINTMENT in my Troy, Michigan studio located at 1755 Livernois Rd. Troy, MI 48083.
- Proofing gallery sent via email within 1 week of session.
- Final digital images delivered in a private online gallery within 3 weeks from session. Images are all high resolution for printing.
- Print & product orders will be available for pick-up in my studio by appointment only.
- Being on time is extremely important in order to keep the sessions running on time.
- Arrive 10 minutes prior to your session time and TEXT ME from your car. We will let you know when to come in. This will keep one family in the studio at a time.
- Book 2 back to back sessions to incorporate more than 1 immediate family. Immediate family means 2 parents & their children only. If you have grandparents or other family such as aunts/uncles/cousins, you will need 2 slots in order to provide enough time.
- Parents may not have photos on the kids only sets. No exceptions.
- If you have a large family-please reach out before booking in order to ensure your family will fit on my setups.
- 15 minutes are allotted for each session. This time includes photographing and optional outfit change. These sessions move quickly and you will be surprised how much we get in our time together. Make sure everyone is ready to go when you arrive. There will be a 5 minute buffer in between sessions to allow for cleaning and prep for the next family.
- Proofing galleries will include all the best shots from your session! The photos will not be retouched to expedite delivery to you. Final edits will only be done once images are selected and invoices are fully paid.
- Santa is automatically included in your session. If you DO NOT want Santa to join in with your family or kids, make sure you let me know when booking or on arrival. He will only come out if you want him too to avoid scaring kids.
- I may not be able to accommodate changing of scheduled scenes at the time of your session.

I can’t believe it is almost time for our 8th annual Christmas Sessions! The planning started almost as soon as they ended last year and I am so excited about this year’s event!
I updated backdrops with a NEW family scene that I know you will love, because it is gorgeous and I have so many that come every year, I like to switch it up! I decided to keep Santa’s Workshop since it was a huge hit with the kids! “Milk + Cookies” was very fun and the kids loved it, with real cookies and real milk. Even Santa was excited about that! And of course Santa’s Workshop was so fun, we are doing it again this year!
Speaking of Santa…I am SO excited he is coming again this year! I am always happy to make parents’ lives a bit easier. I remember how it was going to the Mall with my kids and after standing in line forever, having them be less than excited. It just wasn’t always the greatest experience, usually someone cried, but it was important for me to document, so I did it even though it was painful sometimes. So, now you don’t HAVE to go to the mall (if they even do that anymore) AND your kids get to do a fun activity with Santa too!
You can add Santa to any session type and he can be involved with the kids, or he can be in the photo without the kids even knowing he is there! Out of all the kids last year, only one was crying, but Mom loved the images anyway! Santa will bring a special gift for each child.
