If you're a new parent, you're probably overwhelmed with all the decisions you need to make. Newborn photography doesn't have to be one of them. Let me guide you ...

It’s that time already!
Ads for “Back to School” deals are filling your inbox. Your kids are soaking up the last moments of Summer and it seemed to have flown by so fast. They have scraped knees, missing teeth and have somehow grown a little taller.
Fall in Michigan is absolutely perfect time to document your family with an outdoor photo session. Cooler temperatures, beautiful locations with so much gorgeous color-what more could you ask for?
Enjoy a beautiful evening with me at a gorgeous location where I will capture sweet & joyful moments, wrangle your kids and even make your husband smile! We will focus on connection and FUN with a mix of candid and posed images.
You will be left with an amazing memory and beautiful images turned into emotional, timeless artwork.

Sessions take place one hour before sunset during “golden hour”.
The golden hour in photography is the brief period right before sunset when the sun sits low in the sky. It bathes the world in soft, warm, reddish-gold light with long shadows, creating a soft, warm, magical look. Often times we continue into “blue hour” which gives a bit of a cooler, more dramatic, moody look that is gorgeous with indigo, violet and deep blues. Either way, the sky will add to the beautiful surroundings to compliment the vibrant colors of the trees and landscape.
MY STYLE
Emotive, story-telling, candid and organic images with your family at one of our gorgeous outdoor locations. We have lots of fun at these sessions! We will capture images of you playing with your kids, laughing and snuggling. Wardrobe guidance and styling available for all sessions.
SCHEDULING
A session agreement and invoice will be sent to you via email. Sessions are scheduled after the session agreement and payment is received. Outdoor locations will be chosen based on what you are looking for. Session start time will be determined by when sunset is on the date of your session. I prefer to shoot an hour before sunset for that beautiful golden light.
CONSULTATION & WARDROBE
You will receive a Wardrobe Guide to prepare you and your family for your portrait session, with tips and styling advice. I will be available to help you chose and coordinate the most perfect outfits! During our wardrobe consultation, we will find the most perfect wardrobe for your family!
RETOUCHING
A soft proofed online gallery will be sent to you to view & order your images about a week after your session. Skin retouching, such as blemish removal and tone correction is included to give skin a natural, polished look to the images you choose. Additional editing should be discussed in advance of your final product creation.
Weekday and limited weekend availability during peak season September 19th-October 30th.

Crisp air, golden light, and vibrant scenery…the perfect recipe for gorgeous images. I have a list of parks that I love to use as a beautiful, colorful background for your portrait session. Parks are a great place for the kids to feel relaxed. Real smiles, and real personality is my goal. I have lots of fun ways to get genuine smiles and interaction that makes for the most true to life moments. Kids (and adults!) are free to be themselves.
No one wants to look stiff in photos! I got you Mama!
